The insurance distribution industry has experienced a significant consolidation of brokers and consultants through acquisition by large public entities leaving an unexpected void in the tailored execution of insurance brokerage services. This merger addresses the market’s need for a more responsive business model.

Our new company is led by three industry leaders, and operates in two broad practice areas: Property & Casualty, and Employee & Executive Benefits. The Property & Casualty practice operates under the brand name "InterContinental Insurance Solutions" and is led by Thomas E. Sleeper. The Employee & Executive Benefits practice operates as "SafeHarbor Consulting & Risk Management" and is led by J. Brent Finnegan. Thomas E. O’Neil serves as Chief Operating Officer of the new enterprise.
